Allocation estimator for Gate's old Startup subscriptions

Max subscribable units (indicative)
10
VIP 1 → 1² × 10 = 10 units

VIP level² × 10 comes from Gate's earlier public Startup subscription rules and is illustrative only; it applies to the old subscription-type activities. Official sources do not show one consistent cap number, so this tool applies no universal ceiling. The current formula, cap and eligibility come from the specific activity page. Today's HODLer Airdrop does not use this formula: it splits by average GT holding over the project against all participants. For reference only; this tool forecasts no returns and is not financial advice.

01What this estimates

In the old Startup subscription activities, a higher VIP level got more "units". Gate published a max-allocation formula at the time, roughly VIP level squared times 10, with a per-user cap. This tool just visualises it: pick a level, see the max units. It does not apply to HODLer Airdrop, which splits by average GT holding over the project against all participants; there, VIP level only affects the personal cap on VIP-tagged projects.

Worth stressing: "units" is not "returns". Units cap how much of the new token you can claim, but what they're worth depends on the price after listing — which can rise or dump. More units is not more profit.

02More units ≠ worth stacking GT

VIP level mostly comes from holding GT (or trading volume). "Higher VIP, more units" tempts people to stack GT. But GT is a volatile asset: parking a large sum in GT for a few more units adds a side bet on GT's price. Size your launch activity first. We work that through in how much GT for VIP1.
